Sales TAXES on USED goods are Anti-GREEN - help us do something about that
I consider Sales Taxes on used goods an evil blight on the entire system.
We, in Canada, are in midst of instituting a new HST (harmonized sales tax) system, and have a great opportunity to highlight the fact that antiques, vintage, salvage and USED goods should be exempt from sales taxes, cross-country.
This applies to the U.S. as well, but not familiar with your tax systems, so i'll leave that to US based biz.
