I wonder why eBay refused to let you sell that lock? Do you know? They currently have around 75 old padlocks for sale similar to yours. Completed sales shows they go for $9.00 to $21.00 depending on condition and shape.

They look like letter openers, I cant really tell without knowing the thickness, also possibly they could be a throwing knife, they appear to be brass or brass plated, ,you can tell this by using a magnet on them, hope this helps. Terry

Hi, I also find Chineese Antiques very interesting,as their decorating and painting always tell a story, if you have someone who can interpet it, The American Native Indian culture also decorates in much the same way and their decorations will tell history, tales, mythology, and the clan and tribe that they belong too. Thanks for sharing
