Your items are precious and special...I go to auctions(local) and estate sales,and I love collecting anything that is old, unusual, or just unique in some way, as a one of a kind, I call it. THAT INCLUDES DINNER WARE AND LARGE URNS TO ANY THING AND A LOT OF THE BLANKS WERE SHIP TO THE US AND ENGLAND AND ELSE WHERE THEY WERE NOT WHAT THEY TERM AS PERFECT BUT NO DAMAGES JUST DID NOT FIRE PERFECT YOU CAN SEE IF YOU PLACE PLATES ON TOP OF EACH OTHER THEY HAVE TO BE UNIFORM. IF NOT THEY ARE SECONDS AND THEY SHIP TO US AND WOMEN AND MEN WOULD HAND PAINT THEM WITH ALL KINDS OF FLOWERS ETC. AND SOME THEY SIGNED AND DATED, EVERY BODY THINKS THEY WERE HAND PAINTED IN FRANCE. MOST PAINTED PCS. THAT WAS H.P. AT THE FACTORY WILL HAVE A SIGNATURE , A FRENCH ONE, I DONT KNOW IF YOU GOT MY OTHER MESSAGE BUT THERE ARE A LOT OF COMPANIES THERE THAT ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. LIKE ANY BUSINESS. ONE WILL CLOSE TODAY AND TOMORROW ANOTHER ONE WILL POP UP AND START . SO THEY ARE NOT [ALL OF THEM] OUT OF BUSINESS. Arletta Rud said… - Only those things were left to me by family, and some plates and sculptures of hummingbirds. I love hummingbirds. Some old jewelry that was left by an Aunt, a watch from my Grandmother (1879-1966) which still runs perfectly; most things have some sentimental value but others not so much.
