"It appears to be a reproduction of a 16th century medieval chest. I would guess it was made in the early 20th century, possibly 19th century."

"The item came from a house clearance from a person that had passed away. The seller only presumes that it could be one web research is not giving me any clues looking for the pattern types to try to determine its age its not very large 16x5x3 cms…"
