"The $12-$50 range seems suspicious.  All the ones I saw with varying prices were based on what size you wanted.  That means to me that it is a copy."

Bird's Eye View of Sandusky, Ohio 1883

I have come across an original copy of a Bird's Eye View of Sandusky, Ohio from 1883.  Before I sell it, I am trying to find an approximate value.  Everything I see on the internet is a reproduction that you can buy at any size you want.  Any ideas or thoughts?Cover is about 5"x7", map opens to about 36"x42" (a guess).  It's loose from the cover. (And a pain to fold!!!)…See More

"I don't think an early impression would list a later impression (since it wouldn't know the month or year.  So, the last listed should be the impression."

"I also see a wick trimmer, but the "bed warmer"?  Unless there was a internal pan that is missing, you would have hot coals and sparks coming through the bottom holes catching your sheets on fire!"

"General Washington doesn't necessarily mean George Washington. In the 1800s there was a tobacco by that name, plugs and pipe types. Maybe your item was a tag on a case or bag of tobacco. You say it's paper, but could it be linen? Where did…"
