Not a dealer- just a regular family who recently buried the last of the "older" folks- and had the family farm, in Minnesota cleared out and auctioned off. ( For almost nothing since everyone up there already has all that old stuff) which was homesteaded by Norwegians and Scottish ancestors in the mid 1800's-- every single thing the family has touched remained there in all the out buildings until the sale. Being the only brother- the girls had first pick of the stuff that was not auctioned- with each of us taking just a few things we kind of liked.
Tell us about your interest in antiques, collecting and any antique related websites, blogs, businesses.
Was never really into old things- having grown up on a farm filled with only old stuff- and always "making do" with the old stuff-- equipment for farming- living on etc.. but I find that some of the things I brought home like old stuff from wars - and pictures, books , all make me curious about there who had them and why.
