"Can anyone tell me what this is?  It was found under an old ranch house under the floor boards.  Looks like it may be home made.  All wood.  About 2 feet long."

"This is a reproduction published by the Uchida Art Co in Kyoto. They are still in business publishing new prints as well as reproductions like the one you have. They are currently out of stock, but they sell the print in the size you have for 4200…"

"I saw this print over the weekend in my area at a sale ... it's quite common, and not the first time I've seen it. It's called The Great Wave off Kanagawa. I think it's gorgeous ... but it's reprinted often I believe."

"Thank you for that information.  He said that he got it in Japan around 1985-1986.  That is when he was stationed there.   He was thinking it was worth around $50 so nice to know that it is worth a little more than that."

"Nice newer Imari, when was he there? My guesstimate is ~$100-125ish. We have about 30-40 old imari pieces and 1-2 newer ones, 1 of the new ones being a big 19" charger in the shop for 225."

"Forgot to mention that it is 8 1/2" across and 3 1/4" high.  It also has gold inlay."

About Me
Mother of 2 grown daughters, 4 grandchildren and recently my first great granddaughter. I am active retiree with hobbies of camping, gardening, bird watching, kayaking, photography and scuba diving. I sell Scentsy and Avon as well.
Tell us about your interest in antiques, collecting and any antique related websites, blogs, businesses.
Most of my antiques are things that I have grown up with including things from my grandmother when she passed away. I don't collect, but am interested in selling some of my items.

A very big welcome to our terrific site, we hope that you get involved in many of our groups, and post some photos of your collection(s) etc with the information on yourself already on your page. When you get comfortable here please would you add an avatar picture and feel free to customize your profile page, to make it more you (easy templates provided)

Then you can start exploring the site and join as many groups as you like, let us know your interests and we can point you in the right direction as to which groups to join, if you only want specific topics.
