"Oh, no, it is definitely not a reproduction.  In fact, Made in Japan ceramics have never been reproduced, but they were sometimes reissued, although Hand Painted Nippon pieces have been reproduced.    Even the fabulous Noritake Art…"

"Hi,   The perfume bottle was made during the Hand Painted Nippon era, 1891--1921.  After that, pieces had to be marked Japan or Made in Japan, not Nippon.  I'm still mystified about the lidded container, but it is very attractive…"

"The mark on the perfume bottle is a flower or stylized letters...it's hard to tell, with the words Noritake, hand-painted Nippon around it. The lidded container is about 6" long and 3.5" high...it's mark is a flower with leaves…"

"Welcome!   What great pieces.  I wasn't able to make out the mark on the perfume bottle, and the lidded piece really has me stymied.  I thought I had seen every type of piece of MIJ on the planet, but no, I've not seen this…"

green glass vase

Hello,I posted this to whadja find and got some great replies...thanks! Vicki suggested I post to this group too. It's a green milk glass vase...about 6" tall...hand decorated and has applied glass beads creating a pansy design. It has a silver collar, lid insert and top...no markings are visible on the glass or silver. Opinion so far is that it is Victorian Coraline and possibly a Mt. Washington shaker....Thanks!  RickiSee More
