The reasons why antiques stay alive.BY: RAMIRO VALDEZBased on my personal knowledge, experience and opinion.Antiquities are, items that have survive, the test of time. They were made by someone or something who gave them life. A life to inspire, entertain, decorate, to be used, to be read, to record and define something or someone in life. Not all were made with a value in mind, but history gave it a place and a time. All the persons who bought them, sold them, care for them, collected them,…See More

Tell us about your interest in antiques, collecting and any antique related websites, blogs, businesses.
I became interested in Antiques when I was eight. My mother use to take us to takes to the Goodwill to help her buy items of interest to support a family of ten. There I saw many items I wanted to buy, but had no money. Over the years I collected what I could afford to study and learn from being that I also like History. I joined the Air Force in 1979 and left the service in 1987. In 1987 i then came back to San Antonio and joined the 433rd Air Force reserve unit where I have been working for over 26 years. Since then I have collected many old items plus old books which has helped me in the study of Antiquities.
I have read and understand the Terms of Use and disclaimer section of the iantiqueonline.com website and agree to abide by these terms. Answer yes below.
