Greetings:Two mystery items for the sleuths today :)First, is a plate I acquired at an estate sale years ago. Wanted to see if someone could provide info/age based on pattern/style? "looks like yellow ware, but im seeing a white clay rim on the base. Is that what u see to? If so, not yellow ware. Vintage art pottery batter bowl, i think. I'd guess 1920's-30's. looks like US made."

"Thank you both for your input. Since I purchased it at an sale, there was, unfortunately, no owner to speak with. There were other glass pieces there though--so she may has been a collector. In fact I bought two original Heisey Airedales ;-)"

"Hi Scott! You raise some interesting points. I just used a magnifying glass to get a good look inside the holes and indeed they are threaded. The area on the ring isn't corroded--it looks like it came out of the cast that way."
