Your quilt top is quite interesting. It is difficult to tell from the picture if it is actually barkcloth, some of it is definitely not but some may well be..... Barkcloth has an uneven, nubbly texture to it, or sometimes is woven in a raised, textured pattern. Fabric of this sort is usually too heavy to actually quilt, but would be used as a top for a knotted comforter, or as a spread or throw.
Again, it's hard to determine age from the picture, but it looks like some of the fabrics are probably from the 1970's. I hope this helps at least a little.
