Hi, I picked up 4 of these buttons recently & am hoping someone can help me determine their approximate age or provide info regarding style that might help me research them.They appear to be brass, have glass cabochon centers. Thanks for the very helpful info! I guess it could be butter, I don't think the shape was always the bars we're familiar with today. I'm going to do a bit of research & see what I come up with.
