"Russian, certainly 1988. Siberian tiger. It's not uncommon to see the nine written backwards. "

"Hi Janice, You've definitely got an intaglio print; the question is, what kind? I will venture to say it is both an etching (due to the uniform thickness of the lines) and aquatint (based on the variation of dark and light in the background).…"

How Did You Hear About "I Antique Online"?
About Me
A California Lady - that got into the Antique business in 1972 by accident... I went from a custom floral designer out of my garage to Country Store Owner over night. My husband got sick, and I became the provider of 5 with 10 employees. Challenging - but fun everyday, as the store was filled with scents of christmas like pine and cinnomon, and the creativity of so many people that changed weekly. It was a challeing balance of sport fields, school projects, selling, marketing and caring for someone in a mental ward - but I did it.

Had an Incredible fun Country Christmas Store in 1972
with 5 hour long lines out the door.
with over 1200 consignees across the country that were incredible..
Christmas is my favorite time of year.... and the old fashion country store atmosphere with Santa Claus and hot apple cider brewing.... made it a fun place for the locals to come and hang out..
I learned alot about Early American Antiques... but there is so much to learn... that even to this day... I feel I don't know enough...
Downsizing as I am moving to a smaller place... so i am giving up many of the treasures from my store.... since I am now alone.. I need to have an income so sharing my treasures... with others will be fun...
I have read and understand the Terms of Use and disclaimer section of the website and agree to abide by these terms. Answer yes below.
