"This fine lithophane set features an Asian lady on the bottom of the cup when it is held up to the light. The rich gold border adds to the richness of the pieces. I believe, according to the mark, this was made after 1924 and before 1946. Good…"

All Good Things

"Season is coming, season is coming" to South Florida. This is the magic phrase for antique dealers of Southern Florida. What it really means is that our regular snow birds and tourists will be coming to spend the winter season at their winter homes in our little part of the world. Many of these friendly people from all over the country, love to shop for antiques and collectibles either for gifts or for their own seasonal homes at the numerous antique malls or our winter shows. One shop in…See More

About Me
I retired from a not-for-profit organization in 1996 and was supposed to do the normal retiree things, i.e. playing bridge, socializing, etc. But, this did not happen and I am busier than ever, in the world of antiques and collectibles. I work 3-days a week at an antique mall and do the bookkeeping for the mall owner so she can pay the vendors for their sales. I have a sometimes wonderful husband and a very sweet German Shepherd mix living at home with me as well as two grown children living elsewhere, for now. Life is kind, my health is good and generally, I like people.
Tell us about your interest in antiques, collecting and any antique related websites, blogs, businesses.
I have been buying and selling antiques since 1991. Currently, I have a large booth at All Good Things Antiques and Collectible in Lake Worth, Fl and I also sell on eBay under the username, Blueribbons. I also have a store for vintage items on Etsy, under the title: Hey, grandmahadthat.
