ST Dupont lighter, pre-1983

I inherited this lighter, never used/still in box, from my dad. I sent the details to a North American Dupont dealer (Reyns International)  and received this reply:"From the pictures you sent, this appears to be a Line(Ligne) 1 large lighter #14110 with a Diamond Cut pattern.  The design of this lighter has changed a little from when this one was manufactured (somewhere between 1955-1983)  The estimated price for a brand new lighter was $600 -$800 due to the high price of gold.  This lighter…See More

Old Ashtray

My mom collected ashtrays as a young woman (she's 90 now) and this one always fascinated me as a child. I believe it's made out of brass or copper. Years ago it was the colour of a penny. Can anyone tell me anything about where it could have come from and whether it has any value. I'm pretty sure it's machine made, b/c of the seam down the front. It's about 6" tall.…See More

"That would be your "Series" or model number. You should be able to find your model name, and approx. date when it was made online.  Just look on ebay.com and try and compare yours to the ones being sold. You could also send an email…"
