I love finding old and interesting treasures in the antique markets!! That is when I have the most fun. I also have an online business called The Hermit's Halo. I stitch, stuff and stain my creations from dolls to cats and crows. I also love altered art, clay, cross stitch and just plain old stitching. I love punch needle and am going to learn to rug hook soon. Can't wait! Check out my website www.thehermitshalo.ca if you love these things too. I also sell my creations at the Waterford Antique Market in Waterford, Ontario! Check out my site and let me know what you think!

Hi Melissa (my daughter's name, still love that name!) I would love to see the piece you're describing. I can't imagine what brand it would be. A lot of manufacturers have made similar multi purpose items - my mom referred to them back in the day as a "bachelor appliance", but I don't know the one you're describing. Please get a picture if you can - it would be great to post it on the Electricals Group. And maybe we would have a buyer if your Mom still wants to sell.
