"Hi Lorraine, I can't quite see well enough in the pictures, but I think it is possible your vase is enamel. If so, the luminous parts would probably be ginbari, which is a Japanese foil technique. When the foiled areas are enameled, they appear…"

Looking for info on vase

This Vase has some designs that I'm not used to. It looks like the markings on the side of the vase have been hacked or cut on but all of the markings are actually tiny air -bubbles leaving a totally different look. I have been trying to find the maker and would love to hear how the air bubbles got  Soo intense. ThanksSee More

Good Day,

How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site.Could you please get back to me on:( mrsstellakwale5888@gmail.com ) for the full details.

Have a nice day

Thanks God bless.

Stella.

Looks like I am still figuring this site out.  I am just seeing your post right now.  I hopped on the computer when I got home after 6pm.  It is a bit addicting, I've discovered.  I just love mysteries and the quest to find the answers.  It is also a lot less destructive than other things I could be doing when I should be working  :)

Definitely sad about Texas.  There are some crazy things going on out there.  You know, I checked out the person that sent me the text and they are a member on the site.  Still found it creepy.  As soon as I wrote about it to you, they deleted it off the page somehow.  It is just as well, I do not need to be mailing money to Ghana to help the professors daughter's sister's child anyway.

Have a good night....Whadja find today?

So, I just got a text from someone right after you replied that said they wanted to talk to me but not on a public site and that it was "vital"...????? See what I mean?

I live in metro Detroit.  I have a HUGE accumulation of treasures in the 17 years I have been in this home.  Before that, I had a storage locker for 10+ years but never really lived anywhere long enough to unload it.  I love finding things, researching things, helping people figure out what they have, and learning, in general.

I am a medical social worker and I make home visits in three different counties, so I come across a wide variety of items that intrigue me.  I started looking them up and informing my patients of what I felt might be valuable, or something I could help them sell to get a little extra cash.  Most all of them are elderly and homebound...many times with families that don't really appreciate antiques, including their loved ones!  :(  But, such is life.

Hi,

I do not do social media, so I just noticed a Friend Request.  I was a little apprehensive...silly, huh?  Well, now that I can ask you directly, What color is the stone in your ring?  If it is blue, I agree with Vicki, if it is black, it looks like onyx.

Thank you for "friending" me.  :)
