"Hi Barbara, you might want to try researching Burwood Wall Plaques or Syroco Mid-Century products. Your wall hangings don't look like hand carved wood to me but rather molded Burwood from the mid-century. I found this blog with some interesting…"
"Hi DeeDee, I just stumbled onto your Idols Cast from my dad's restaurant the Kahiki Supper Club. Do you still have it and is it for sale? I've been collecting the old mugs from the early days of the Kahiki."
"Heidi, your article makes perfect sense to me and I feel I've learned something extremely valuable today. Thank you for sharing. Even without the "suffragette jewelry" aspect, the necklace is gorgeous on its own."
I am a collector of items from my Dad's restaurant The Kahiki Supper Club that was located in Columbus, Ohio. My dad, Bill Sapp and Lee Henry owned the Kahiki from 1961-1978. I love early Hawaiian items too! I have an Etsy shop where I sell vintage Tiki items.See More

My parents always had a love of Art and Antiques so I grew up with an appreciation of the beauty and history of vintage items. As a child I loved going to farm auctions, I would scour the goods until I found an interesting treasure, my parents would buy it for me and that item would keep me occupied for the rest of the day. I did the same with my daughter. It's a generational love of Vintage.
