"I totally agree, but there is a lot of different sizes of ammo out there with decorative "headstamps" (the new word I learned)...but I realize the missing rim is what makes it that much more unlikely.    The crown seems British…"

"Maybe on the large size for a bullet casing and there's no rim on these. The S.S. and crown logo are kinda fancy for a casing."

What is this?

I have no idea what this is (and I have 6 of them), or how old (I've had them for decades). They are made from very light non-magnetic metal, probably aluminum and are 2" long and 5/8" in diameter and hollow. One end has the initials S.S. under a crown. I'd like to know what they are.…See More

"Here's some more input...On eBay, ended today (8/12/19) "over 5,000 cancelled stamps sold for $14.95".  That's $.002990 per stamp.  If you have 100 stamps, that's $.30 cents."

eBay Classifieds online is closing

at the end of September so they are not accepting new ads. I was directed to Close5 which is a cell phone app which I can't use. Boo on eBay!
