About Me
Recently retired after working 38 years for state government. I am still single, an only child, and living in the Victorian "homestead" with two cats, Adam (who I use as my avitar) and Gus. Inherited parent's estate when Mom passed on in 2006. Still in the process of sorting out things which seems endless. My folks were avid collectors, especially mom. Her collections of Depression, cut & pressed and carnival glass is extensive. Also a great deal of china and porcelain.

Hi Lillian, you posted a pic of a vintage bowl with grapes...It is an ealry Rosenthal mark, sometime between 1901-1933. I can't quite make out the town name on your mark, but that is the factory branch it was made at in Bavaria.

Lillian, Adam's probably loves you very much for taking him in and giving him a good home, but 'cat' like he is...he probably doesn't show it! LOL  I've always thought cats were so cool, because they don't give their love lightly...you have to earn it! Take care, Diane :O)

I luv your cat photo! He looks like he is bored, or putting up with the 'human'! LOL

I only have one cat left, my geriatric, fiesty little Tigger. She puts up with the dogs! LOL

Take care, Diane :O)
