About Me
I am a second generation picker. My mom/dad & aunt/uncle began picking almost 25 yrs ago. Their 1st purchase was a jadite/ anchor hocking jane ray cup/saucer. That started a wild fire. They became the largerst collectors of Fire King in the nation. At that time there were no collector guide books for FireKing. So they wrote the book, and it was a family project. My mother and Aunt now own their own Antique Mall in Hartselle, Alabama. As of right now I am the only child or grandchild who even has an intrest into the business and I am just trying to keep up. I love watching the American pickers they have taught me alot. I even use their techniques in the Mall with customers and dealers. I am so glad that this show has come along. But the only problem is alot of the people I want to buy from are fans of the show too....so I do alot of bidding. Love you guys ....Ya'll need to come pick in Alabama.
