Those look somewhat similar to mine. http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/group/whadjafind/forum/topics/help-identifying-unknown The structrue and color are different, but the cities, signature and writing are very similar.

I am very unwowed ( is that a word?) by them. But, just like my appreciation for folk art needed some time, I guess this will have to wait for me to be un-unwowed and develop a liking to them. They remind me of paintings on mirrors for some reason.

About Me
Hello Everyone. As you can see, my name is Kayla, I am 19 years young(November baby), I fancy myself a spiritual person, but not religious, and I have been sick with Lyme Disease for 5 ½ years now. I am unable to go to school because of the LD(I would be a freshman in college), but more ME time right? Please don’t feel sorry for me because that’s not what I’m about. Yes, I’m sick and sometimes I feel sorry for myself, but mostly I embrace this journey because it has given me many wonderful things. One of which is my passion for jewelry and creating it. I started a little after I got sick and it has been a staple In my life ever since. Along with creating jewelry, I love anything antique and vintage. I could spend hours looking for little treasures in an antique mall.

An Introduction is in Order.

I figured all you people might want to know at least a little bit of who I am and my background before following the crazy, jewelry making, blogging person.

Well to start out, my name is Kayla and I am a November baby(that's right, Scorpio through and through). I was named after a soap opera star. Yes, that's a little TOO much detail, but I love that story =] I am 19 years young and simply cannot believe I will be 20 this year. I was raised a none practicing catholic, however the past few years… Continue

Hi Kayla! I haven't been on in days, as I've been working. I'm off this weekend and go back Mon 11-7 shift at the hospital. Yesterday my hubby and I went out for brunch, drove around a bit, and got a flat tire just going into the parking lot of a 'junk' store I wanted to see....we ended up at WalMart buying a new tire, instead of me browsing....now...no money honey! LOL I'll laugh 'til I cry! I'd rather buy vintage than a tire!!! Ouch!
I luv your music! :O)

Kayla..."don't worry...be happy!" LOL If you are interested in a music player on your page here, just click on the button below mine (on my page). That will take you to playlist.com, where you can join and start your own playlists, picking out whatever music you want. It's free. Then you cut and paste the code onto your page here. Tina...BossyBaby...has one on her page, and it goes on and on...Everybody's music is different, and you can pick different colors for the player. I think it's a fun thing for your page! :O)

Kayla, I've been on the 'vintage' scene for over 50 years! LOL Seriously...when I was young and just 'married with children' (LOL), in the late '70's and early '80's, I started going to garage sales and auctions back then. I refinished antique furniture, with my hubby (and we even got my sister and brother-in-law started)! I started collecting and sold at yard sales myself. I ran ads in the newspaper to sell things I had refinished.
I seriously got into linens a few years ago, here in Texas. I always luved costume jewelry! :O)

Hi Kayla! I haven't been to the jewelry group for a while, so it was nice to meet you today! I've seen your Etsy shop, as I'm over there too! You are a really 'crafty' person!...from one 'foxy lady' to another! LOL Well...20 years ago, I used to be 'foxy'! LOL I have a very 'warped' sense of humor...I have to have one as I work at a local hospital. :O)
