"Aha! I think Michael Kerns is looking at your Avatar picture. But I'd guess you already know what that blue compote is in your pretty display. Now that I can see it, it doesn't look like Heritage pattern by IGCo. Wrong color. :)"

"I, too, was wondering about the blue centerpiece?  I thought maybe I just wasn't seeing the true picture.  Good guess about the compote, Tom...especially if you are looking at the concrete weights.  :)"

"Not sure what Michael is looking at...All I see are a bunch of concrete weights with rusty iron rings.  Blue, Kings Crown thumb print sounds like glass compote by Indiana Glass, Heritage pattern...but I can't see it so I am truly…"

"I don't see how a potato can be planted. Where does the spud go? You have to shut it to keep the spud from falling out.  How do you shut it and then put  it into the ground? And once it's in the ground how do you open it to drop…"

"The tool Tom is referring to has spikes that gather around the root when pushed down upon, thus surrounding it to get the whole plant."

"Looks like it's out of a gas furnace, maybe it heated water in a boiler for steam heat. There are many applications. Another thought industrial plants often have excess gas that is burned off, could be used like that.  Oil and natural gas…"

"It's a weed  puller, esp for dandelions. We had one, they work quite well-gets the plant and root system. You push it into the ground over the weed then step on it which closes it over the roots and then extract it."
