"Way to go guys, it is Gregg Jefferies. Ebay "solds" are disappointing. 2 sold for $.99 each, several sold for $9.00, a few around $14-16 and a couple were around $20. None that I saw were MIB (Mint in box) which yours is which could…"
"I can't make it (signature) out either. Looks like "Gregg" but most first names are spelled with one g. Two g's usually is the surname. Maybe George? I checked players named George and there are over 10 pages with 50…"
"Hmm, That's a tough one! It reminds me very much of early Royal Doulton - I'm talking very early, late 1700's - early 1800's. But I don't think that's right. Seems that those do have some type of markings, and at least…"

"The signature, to me, appears to be H. H. Bauer. I don't find that artist on searching but there is an artist H. Bauer and another, well-known, Willi Bauer. If you do a search herehttp://www.signaturefinder.com/index.phpyou might be able to…"
I obtained this vase via an estate sale. It's about 5" tall and heavy for its size. Underneath the vase is signed VD. I searched the internet for info on those initials on pottery but could only find V or D by itself ? It may be nothing but to my humble opinion looks old and different . Has some weight to it. If anyone could kindly help me with the markings or any info on this piece would be much appreciated. Thank you John.See More
