Bronze champleve tray with fanciful horse & tree(tree of life?)

The tray is 11.5" & 0.5" deep. During my research I came across an old description of a horse & this crazy looking thing fit it! The tree & leaves seem familiar even the horse! They remind me of old tapestries. What I'm looking for is, what culture this comes from & is their a name for this type of rendering of an animal?  What about the tree & leaves? Is there a specific name for it? There is four colors of enameling Red, Blue,Green & black. Thanks for the help!…See More

" that's not window cut glass. Those are little glass pieces put in a mold than poured milk glass in it. Or if your talking about the shade, it is frosted glass & the way you do that is put a diagram of what you want clear, than frost…"
