About Me
My wife, Barbara, and I sell, collect, and write about vintage American kitchenware, but those who know me best are aware of my favorite activity: duckin'. I love hunting ducks, carving and painting decoys, buying and selling decoys, and talking all about waterfowling. We do sell some decoys at our eBay store: Barbara and Jim Mauzy, we sometimes list auctions with dekes: todays_pleasures_tomorrows_treasures. Let's talk waterfowl!

I love the carving of the decoys. Once in a while through the years I have brought decoys at auction. Right now I have a large goose decoy that's a real beauty. Then, there's one of those decoys used to hunt ducks, outside sitting in my birdbath, it's one of those rubber ones. I had just came back from a loacl auction I go to once in and while, and the decoys sold well there. He got the decoys from an estate in NJ, I believe, and the fellow is only letting the auctioneer sell a few at a time. I came home, and there was the new group notice in my mail, so, I figure may as well join and learn about decoys. I know about the hunting part, don't want to know more about that since I love wildlife and have a pair of Mallards that come every year to stay in my yard and swim in my big in ground birdbath. Just love the art. I think they are amazing. Looking forward to reading and
looking at photos..you never know, I might learn something, best wishes, Linda of RC Antiques on Ruby Lane
