Hello Everyone, I have a really nice old rocking chair that I found at the Salvation Army some months ago. I'm sure that it is quite old, due to the patina and the tenoned rockers. I've included some…Continue

Ethnic Dolls

Hello, My husband purchased these beautiful ethnic dolls but they do not seem to have any markings, etc. Russian perhaps? The dolls stand about 15" tall and are made with quality, weighty, colorful materials. The woman has multiple rings on both hands and bracelets on both wrists. The painted faces were done with care and an experienced hand. They show small signs of age...some yellowing of the lace, slight discoloration on some clothing areas (maybe due to light) and some wear on the tip of…See More

About Me
I've been a member for a while now but I can't seem to remember what friend told me about the site. I post questions and check out of the people's questions, from time-to-time. C. Dianne...I swear I'm going to get some pic to you soon! I'm raising grandchildren so if it seems as though I've lost my mind at times...I probably am, lol. The fact that I am raising grandkids now allows me the opportunity to have someone to blame my brainlessness on.

Most of the things I ask about are things my husband has shopped for. While we don't even live in the same town, I am often taking pictures, doing research and finding buyers for all of the stuff he buys. (still waiting for the "big one") I figure someday he'll have a eureka purchase, lol. He loves pottery, artwork, watches (mainly men's and has quite the catelog of information in his head). He loves mid century modern items. Somehow I really have to get stuff sold and any help, direction (least time consuming suggestions are best) hence the reason I think C Dianne and I can help each other. But alas I am slow at getting it all done.
