My hubby and best friend, Ed and I have been together for close to 25 years. We feel very blessed to have a wonderful marriage and a great relationship. We love corny jokes & puns, and finish each others sentences. Our daily household life is crazy (in a good way) with three kids at home, one at college, and our adult daughter who who made us new grandparents to our first grandson. Never a dull moment here! We hail from Pennsylvania, but have lived in the Twin Cities for about 17 years. We love the Midwest because it is a terrific place to raise kids. I'm a stay-at-home mom (was a Librarian), and a homeschool teacher to our 10-year-old daughter. I'm a lifelong collector who loves all things vintage. I've been treasure hunting at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales, and antique stores for as long as I can remember. I was a dealer at a local antiques mall from 2012-2014, and am now an owner of Accumulations: A Bazaar. I have an online store, and will open a brick and mortar store in early 2015.

I LOVE lots of stuff ~ books, romance comics, vintage grammar books, vintage valentines, vintage postcards, stamps, pins, vintage hankies, primitive things, pottery, paper dolls, old sewing notions and buttons, old magazines, vintage aprons, vintage linens and textiles, and vintage Pyrex. As you can tell by the list of things, I have a particular fondness for ephemera.

Hi, Jayne and welcome to the PYREX group. We say that you can tell what year a woman got married by the color of the PYREX in her kitchen. I know the group members will love seeing some of your glassware. Also, please feel comfortable jumping in with questions and comments. Barbara
