"The U.S. was not trading with China from about 1949 until the 1970s, and this is definitely not a pre-1949 piece.  I believe it was imported from China as recently as late 20th or early 21st century. CBW"

cloisonne shaker help

Could someone tell me the value of these cloisonne open salt n pepper shakers, I have, 5 of them, and I do not know if 1 open cellar n shaker is classified as a set or 2 cellars n shakers

"Not sure why that happens.  Often I'll answer a post that has no replies and when I post it, suddenly out of nowhere 4-5 other replies appear.  If my answer is wrong, repetitious or dumb I'll quickly terminate it."

"Hi Heather, It's supposed to be an antique English Stonewear plate, its not though. It's a modern reproduction, probably out of China. When ever you purchase stoneware that was made in England it will always say "England"…"

"I googled:  white porcelain egg feet flowers gold outline, and hundreds of similar examples came up. Average value is around $10.00 asking price, very few sales. "
