I live & work in Tokyo with my Japanese wife and we run a small English Conversation school. I have collected various things since I was a child and now specialize in Japanese antiques, ancient coins and foreign coins, antique photography and other photographic images, vintage knives, vintage running & basketball shoes, rare books and other interesting collectibles. I sell on several sites at present, with my favorites being Bonanzle, Atomic Mall, & Blujay in that order. Check out my items by going to my Squidoo Lens, which I have provided a link to below! Hope to meet other nice people here on this site & have interesting chats about antique items & other collectibles! Happy New Year in 2009 to all! Cheers! Greg(Swims)
Hey tom! Thanks for this info & maybe somebody will be interested in this sword. I prefer the older ones from the Edo period though, as the WWII swords just are`nt the same quality!
Hi, this fellow has a real beauty of a WWII samurai sword-wants to sell it-gave him your link, but you might want to look at the pix posted and contact him yourself. Lots of interested people swarming! http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/group/whadjafind/forum/topics/help-with-value-of-japanese?page=1&commentId=1813674%3AComment%3A107834&x=1#1813674Comment107834
