Who made this pottery piece and when?

A few years ago I purchased this bowl at an antique mall for $11. The only marking on it is the U.S.A. mark on the base along with three stilt marks. The dimensions are: 6 1/2 in. diameter and 2 7/16 in. high. The only damage is some glaze loss on the inside rim about 1 in. long. I'm assuming it's a bulb planter. I would like to know who made it and when.See More

Before we opened Hourglass Antiques & Collectibles, we were collectors for 25 years. My husband collected decoys, pocket knives, and straight razors. As a kid he had comic book and mineral collections. I collected dog figurines and stamps as a child, and as an adult fell in love with Steiff teddy bears and vintage blue & white china.

Autographed 1930’s Sports Pen & Ink Drawings For Sale

In the early 1930’s a timid young sign painter and would-be commercial artist in New York City became enamored with all types of sports figures who were popular during this period. After a day’s work and on weekends, he would retire to his room in his parent’s home and go to work at his drawing board. He would render the players’ action poses in charcoal and pen & ink and then label the drawings by hand with the player’s position and team name. Living in New York was the perfect opportunity… Continue

Hi Evie, I mostly use print master pro.  However I do have other places that sometimes I add certain effects from them.  Here is a link to one of my art shops.  If you would like to see some other items I've got for sale.    They also print greeting cards.   http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/don-melton.html?tab=artwork
