Hello Jane, yes, in effect he had important battles it in Belgium during WWII. And the most knowing is the battle of Ardennes with the general Patton in Bastogne where the US Army changed courtyard of history. Do you know there is even today a tank of US Army "Patton Division" on the central place of Bastogne in homage to the American soldiers? Fabrice
