"I think Sherry got it dead on.  I see her link is asking $25. Yours, unfortunately with that chip isn't worth anything (my opinion).  I try not to buy any glass, etc., that is broken or chipped. It's very hard to resell it. …"

Can Someone Please tell me what this was used for?

This is stamped on the bottom "L.Straus & Sons, New York.  I have researched and cannot find one like it anywhere.  Plenty of info on Straus & Sons but not this particular item.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!See More

Registration is filling up quickly for the 30th Annual Antique Jewelry & Art Conference, Inc. Registration is limited to 175 Students. Discounts available for groups and students and are taken by phone or email. Please visit www.jewelrycamp.org for more info or call Sandy Lewand at 631-471-1922. We will also be hosting a Dealer's Night during the conference that runs July 17th thru the 19th tables are limited!
