Burn test for fabric content

Please note a further test for silk is very simple if you just can't decide whether it is silk or another type of fabric, place a small swatch in…

Hi Dena, thanks for responding to my request, glad to be friends!  And thank you for joining the Ruby Plaza Connection group... when you get a free moment, consider adding a blurb about you/your RP shop in the Showcase discussion :). ~Caroline

Dena, thanks for responding. It looks like we have several interests in common. I never tire of visiting antique shops and I love to garden, besides the antique jewelry and furniture. I just joined today. My step-daughter Kelly has been a member for some time and she got me involved with I Antique On Line. She'll have to help me set up my page with some pictures. I'll look forward to seeing some of your "finds."
Kelly will have to help me get my page set up with some pictures.

Hi Dena!

Sorry for the ever-so-late reply! Thanks so much for your comment on the cameo! I was hoping when I first purchased it that it might be lava - but now I'm just not sure. A lot of people think it might be a mold/cast with an older setting. It's very heavy and nothing like a plastic I've ever come across so now I'm just puzzled! Normally I would sell it on ebay but since I'm not sure what it is I haven't put it up for sale. But I might just get tired of not knowing and just sell it for what I bought it for! Haha.

I just took a look at your rubylane site - it's wonderful! I love your pictures and your gorgeous items! I'm a huge fan of rubylane. Do you enjoy selling at that site? It always seems like it would be really fun!

Hi Dena,
Just read about this in Antique Weekly, so sent the info to Beth, she is so techno talented! Might be a fun site for some of the Ruby Lane ladies. Dexter
