I am very new to antiques and in my travels and collecting I have rescued some silver flatware and spoon pieces I believe to be valuable and they were being sold only for silver content. I do not collect these but have acuired quit a few of very upper end pieces. Alvin Bridal Rose, Rogers, etc. can you direct me with any numbers or contact information of anyone that may be int in purchasing? I am in the midwest but can photograph or mail (if you think secure enough) or meet with if close enough. Thank you for your time. 417-520-6501
Your prompt response to my latest message more than made up for your tardiness answering my first. You are a busy woman, being a member of 27 groups. When did you start being interested in collecting antiques? I've been to the Art Museum in the park many times, mainly because I collect vintage paper and many illustrators. Last month went to the Hagley for the first time. The DuPont house is very interesting with loads of fine antiques. Was at the Winterthur last year and am going back soon because it has some great collections of fine vintage paper.
Thank you Deborah, am coming out to the East coast this summer to Boston, hoping to find some cool small items to bring back to the shop.. My website is tough to keep up with, haven't been able to put antiques on it because it changes so quickly , but thanks for the compliment, hope you are keeping warm in Delaware!!
Thanks Deborah for joining "All Things Primitive". Hope you will share whatever you want in the way of primitives with our group. If you have a primitive for sale, feel free to add your link. There are several discussions underway if you would like to join in. Thanks again and have a great day! Deanna
