Hi Chris,

GLAD to hear from you. It's been some time. Actually, I haven't found anything to speak of in a long time. It's getting tougher to find the GOOD OLD STUFF.

But, we still look. I was up at 4:30 this am, to go to a market here in Miami. Only found a reproduction lamp for my mall space.

Going to look more tomorrow.

Stay in touch Chris.

All the Best

Dennis

I am assuming that you are talking about the Mason's Root Beer thermometer?

Hey Chris, how are ya'? No, I have not been on the site in a few days. Trying to catch up with things and get a little fishing in before hunting season really hits.

I forgot to post the pictures of the Christmas lights. You say that your dad collects that kind of stuff? Like I said, I will post them and if he is interested in them he can have them if he pays the postage from here to there. Have a good one!

One more thing...went to this antique shop north of where I live, little shop in Tracy Missouri. Guy had a great display of just about everything, and his prices were very reasonable. I did a few comparisons with EBAY and a couple other auctions houses. He was about even or even cheaper on some things. He has a nice collection of banks and he had a couple or three I am going to pick up in the next few days...may post them on my page...

Chris, been busy here. Hey, I will post the pictures of the lights this evening. If your dad is interested in them, he can have em'. Postage should not be that much. They are old, but have not ever been used, and are still in the original box they came with. I had a set of old ones with the water or whatever it was bubbling out of it, you ever seen those? Some ole' dude gave me $20 for em. They were new also in a 50's or early 60's box. I am not into Christmas lights, and am not hanging them up!

Hey dawg', how ya' doing? Good I hope! Hey, the ole' lady and I were out today estate sale shopping. At one of the stops, they had some old Christmas lights. These have fuses in the plug itself. Some kind of safety measure back then. Anyway, I picked them up for a $1.00 for all of them. Man, I don't want these lights, she is already talking about putting them on the roof. I am not going up on the roof to put lights up with the ice and snow we get!
Let me know if you want them, because they are in the packages and it looks like its at least early 60's or 1950's. You pay the postage and you can HAVE these lights man. 3 boxes. Will post pictures of them if you want to see them. They are not staying here if I have to risk my life to hang them! lol

Take care Chris....
