Can anyone tell me what this wicker basket would have been used for? It's 20 1/2" high and 7" wide at it's widest and tapers at the top. There are leather straps on both sides going from bottom to top. No lid.See More

I thought I recognised those French Revolution statues. I was going to bid on them but decided to pass. :( Do you have an inlaw relative by the name of Lori around the age of 57. If so tell her I said hello. :) Great site, Molly and Tom are the best. Try looking under V&B French statues on sold listings from UK. Seen one on there with a bottom like yours without the anchor. If you're selling them try adding UK ebay site. They should bring around 4 to 5 hundred $.
