"What I mean to say is unlike some pocket watches, that flip open. The two side of this watch opens, with the body of the watch in the center, which gives the appearence of a ladybug. I wouldn't dare try to open the back myself, I understand…"

"minus an explanation. Open the back of your watch; all details will be found there. I haven't a clue what you mean by "opens in the shape of a (lady bug)"."

I have a pocket watch, with the makers name of Sheffield, it is swiss made and shockresistant. The outer case is gold and silver in color, and opens in the shape of a {lady bug}, with the glob engraved on it. Minus a picture can anyone tell anything about this watch ?

About Me
I'm an avid coollector of books [mostly], but I tinker around with other things, i.e a collection of Owles, some antique furniture. Most of the antiques I have has been passed down through the family. I have a few pieces I found at secondhand stores that I liked, and latter looked them up and found that they were antiques of some value i.e prints and dishes. I have a great respect for collectables, of all sorts.
