Love to browse through antique shops. I have collected for over 40 years, mainly flue covers and framed prints. Also love old lithographed tin pieces. Please stop by my Ruby Lane shop when you have a chance.

FLOUR TIP: Take a pinch of flour and rub on cast iron marks, or carvings of dark material to see if signatures appear. A lot of things can be read in that way. Martin rubbed flour into his post on whatjafind and it makes the letters stand out so they can be photographed or read.
You can also use carbon dust (black) on white or light-colored objects. I keep a pencil (carbon) and a nail file (dust) handy.
