Drink Token

While out metal detecting (Madison Wi) in the 90's I found this along the shore near a beach. It looks like a copper alloy and I made a mistake of cleaning it. It is about the size of a nickle.  It came from a billiard hall across the street from Wisconsin's capitol. The building that housed the billiards burnt down March 29, 1879. "M&K = Moritz Zdekaver, circa 1884-1909. Austria.  Old, but not much value. Yours is a tray with handles which is rarer (and more valuable) than plates. ESTIMATED value is $35-50. USD."

I have a plate that I got because nobody else wanted. It was my grandmothers. Can anyone inform me on value (or how to find the value) and how to go about selling it. Maybe it has no value.
