"When I googled umbrella Christmas tree, a dozen or so came up. None, exactly like yours. When you withhold information (stand and box) you cause us to make wrong assumptions. Obviously it's not home made.  And yes your 2nd pic now opens."

Vintage Christmas tree made from parasols

Hello! Posted this in the "Whadja Find Today" group yesterday. Was hoping perhaps one or more members of this group would be more knowledgeable of such a thing. A factory produced christmas tree made from parasols of varying size. Each parasol is screenprinted with garland, ornamentsand are made from either acetate or rayon. "Definitely not a home made project. Unless someone created individual screens and hand screen printed it themselves. Includes round metal stand and original box with no manufacturers name. I like the idea that it was once possibly a store display.…"

Bought this cool 5 stage christmas tree made from parasols/umbrellas. Have researched it based on it's basic form and components and have turned up absolutely nothing. Anyone else ever seen one? Figure it's from the late 40s early 50s.See More
