We always called this one a Jello Mold. However, You could also bake cakes in it & have a pretty design on top of the cake, it is a bunt pan.

Louise, I found your pattern on e-bay & from the pricing on it, you have a small fortune in those pieces. Beautiful pattern. I went into "replacements, ltd", because that is a site that you can usually get a good evaluation, however, I didn't find t…

Craig, I showed the picture to my husband & he said exactly the same thing as you did. He said when he left home, there was still a couple of these at his Grandpa's homeplace. He lived on Powell River that flows into Norris Lake in Tenn. & he explai…

This is a wonderful piece. In looking at the picture, I believe it is an Egyptian or Rome scene, describing a part in the bible where all the baby boys were to be killed. I can't tell you the scripture but I will try to find it. There is the angel &…

David, Your wife found a wonderful piece. That is deffinitly a keeper piece. I agree with Michael, I am sure that it is from the early 1900's. It looks Mission style. I just bought a mission style book shelf, that was in wonderful shape & would go w…

John. This looks like a picture of Moses, from the bible. It sure is a wonderful picture. About taking it out of the frame, if you are going to keep it, I don't know that I would take it out. If you plan to sell it, I would probably check it for sig…

About Me
My picture is of my Grandmother, as a young girl. I retired early (55) I have loved antiques most of my life. I now buy and sell antiques, as a hobby & to feed my own Antique addiction. I also upholster antiques & have for many years. I took classes when we were young, needed a new couch & couldn't afford one. I love perennial flowers & I give starts away every year. It is like giving something beautiful to someone else, that will live for years. Most of my home is in 1800's furniture. I love to take an old, raggedy settee and bring it back to life for hopefully another 100 years. I wish this old furniture could talk. Oh, what a story it would tell.

Brenda, I wanted to leave a link for you to take a look at. I feel that the third link on the page will offer some insight into the funiture buying habits or taste of president Bucahanan.
If my link reveals nothing of value then forgive me.:

Thank you for the compliment on my collection. Yes, Most everything is my own private collection. A collecting journey started about seven years ago.

I'll have to tell you about that journey sometime. I do have some of other peoples items. Leave remarks on the pictures in my albums of what your interested in and I'll be sure to let you know whenever it's time to move forward. Visit often and just say Hi.

If you look at my photo albums, the one listed under BOB's Valuation....he is looking to sell all or part. Leave an offer if interested and I'll get with him. He may not have these items much longer.

May blessings be yours.
