19th C. English Eastlake Burl Drop Front Desk

19th C. English Eastlake drop front desk in Walnut, Oak and Burl. Case with ebonized decoration and burl embellishment surmounted by carved crest rail with inset copper medallion with neo-classical female profile. Interior fitted with two drawers under open letter slots. Case on carved baluster legs with lower stretcher fitted with velvet cushion. Desk measures: 54"H x 41"W x 21"D.
