The second one down is English.  It is a Hornsea Pottery Saffron pattern cup. Saffron was in production from 1970-1992.  It was designed by the late John Clappison (1937-2013).

A very cute find from one of my local auctions today. Was in a box lot that I purchased for something else entirely and didn't even know I had it until I paid and got my lot. A very special surprise to say the least. A "DW" pattern Poole Pottery hors d'oeuvre tray c. 1955-1959 decorated by Shiela Jenkins. The DW pattern is almost impossible to find these days in intact specimens. Quite a treat!
