Randy, it benefits you to put them on the Discussion wall. Click,

+Add a Discussion to do so.  That way all your pics and discussions stay together.

The comment wall is for discussions about antiques, etc.  It  falls over the cliff into cyber space and disappears.

Are questions about items to be displayed on comment wall or Discussion forum?

Craig,

I have an old toy catalog and found a red lion cast iron bank made in 1914 by Butler Bros (now City Products Corp). (No picture).   Originally sold for $.85/doz (.07/each). Says colors were: red, black, gray, silver, and gilt.  Gives size as approx. 5"x 3-3/4".

Thank you Tom, moving it up, I didn't know you could add more than one picture and yes that is a chain (appears to be brass) on the screw top, also has number 38 on the inside of the top.

Linda Long, please read the 2 posts below yours. Would suggest you post above.  Click + Add Discussion.

You need more pics. Show holes, ends, etc. Is that a chain on the end?

Hi, I'm a newbie so I might not be doing this right. I found this at the thrift store and think it may be an umbrella holder but, I'm not sure. It is 12 1/4 inches long, seems to be Bakelite and has 4 rows of 5 holes along it.

Tom, you make a good point about posting in this group. The posts made above in the discussion forum get archived and are easily found by others. As Tom said, eventually what is posted  on this comment wall (the bottom section of every group)  eventually works it's way down to the bottom of the page and poof, its not as visable unless you go digging.
