This plastery-feeling nursery rhyme figurine is just under 3" tall and is numbered. I am so lucky to have  #20 out of 15,000! Before I put it up for sale, I wanted to know what a reasonable price to ask for it.

Marianne, I have no clue what your answer is; I'm old fashioned and still use a PC.

However if you ask Google your question you can find instant answers.  When I asked your question the answer advised downloading to your PC so that you can save them in a permanent file.  Here is what I found:  http://acer--uk.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4564/~/transfe...

I do know that some people can, and others can't, download pics to IAO, or are limited to 1 at a time. With a PC, using the icon to the right of the LINK icon, you can download 8 (I think).

Vintage books:

A child's book reminiscent of Dick & Jane entitled "Summer is Here" by Bertha Morris Parker, published in 1956 by Row, Peterson & Co., 36 numbered pages, filled with color illustrations.

Three Feathers, which I assume is or was some type of alcoholic potable, published a booklet "Life of the Party" filled with popular songs, parlor games and recipes for cocktails, 69 numbered pages, no date of publication, but looks very retro.

"Things are Fine in Mount Idy" by Charley Weaver (Cliff Arquette), published by Holt, Rinehart & Winston in 1960, 53 numbered pages.

AR8,

You are right. One is for Dave, and the other is for Paul, which  is why I used the  word "likewise" which means the  message is the same but for somebody else.

Paul Smith:  What are the dimensions?  I know you are new here, but that aside you need to read the instructions shown above Whadjafind. #1 thru #6.

Comment by tomsantiquesetcetera on August 27, 2014 at 12:12am

AR8, I didn't post this once or twice.  Paul Smith posted it in  Whadjafind as a discussion AND also on the Comment Wall.

I see now where Paul Smith says it is definitely wood!  Which is what I said.  It is painted gold/brass.

Comment by paul smith on August 26, 2014 at 1:49pm

the piece is definitely wood

Paul Smith and AR8Jason, It is confusing when you post this in 2 different places; you split your answers.  You posted this in Whadjafind as a Discussion Post and also on the Comment Wall.

http://iantiqueonline.ning.com/group/whadjafind/forum/topics/what-i...

In picture #3 zoom (left click) will show wood grain and carving cuts confirming it is wood.

AR8/Dave;  likewise it confuses people when you post this in 2 or more places.  Dave, you posted this in Whadjafind as a discussion post, and also here on the Comment Wall.  In doing so remarks are split and others may not make the connection.

AR8, picture #3 left clicked (zoom) definitely shows this to be wood, and carving marks can be seen.
