Hi Jay,

I cannot personally tell you about the traffic on that "page" (because I have never tried to sell anything yet)but there are more members than on this one, and it is set up for the sale of your treasures, specifically.  This comment wall is related to Whadja Find, which is the place you go to learn about and find the maker, origin, etc. of something you have that you want to learn more about.

In reference to the post below, are you saying the framed artwork you have has a dust cover on the back?  I did not understand that one.  I only commented on your Van Gogh.

Thanks for your input @Molly. I was thinking about selling it. Since I am new to this site can you, or anyone tell me do they get good traffic on their "Sell My Antiques" forum.  Do you know the approx value? It appears to be from 1948, it has archival It does have a dust cover on the back, so it looks ready to go. Thanks

Thanks Molly, I didn't think it was a Stickley. I'll do better on pictures next time.

Thanks, Tom!  I just saw your post and found Carol's page.  It is looking Eastlake-ish to me, or possibly handmade? Either way, it is exceptional.

If you have the original, someone stole it from the museum in Amsterdam.

Any Vincent Van Gogh fans?  I came across this today and took a chance oon it for 25 bucks..It is called poplar trees 1884 by vincent van gogh..

Looks  vintage

Anyway I always wanted to own a Van Gogh and sound pretentious

Molly and/or Carol Babbitt:  She meant her profile page. Clicking on one's avatar will take you to Carol's page, then click photos.

I suppose, best guess so far,  It would be awkward to use with that small handle and it shows a great deal of ware. thanks.

JayJ, Your effigy looks like a handle to me. I'd guess you have a piece of Americana, a wooden scoop for feeding farm animals.
