Carol Babbit,

Could you provide some additional pictures so we can see the full beauty of your chair?

Comment by Carol Babbitt on November 13, 2017 at 2:26pm

Do you recognize this chair. Has tag show from C B Rice to Mr and Mr and Mrs. J M Chubbuck, found in Arizona.

if you take the casters off the inserts will be in the leg and on the floor so more damage will be done

Comment by Fred Silva on October 6, 2017 at 8:45am

Keep the wheels on it . If you take them off put them in a bag for the new owner

Comment by Kimberly Lawrence on October 6, 2017 at 7:58am

I acquired this Morris recliner at auction last week. One of the casters is missing. Anyone know if I should replace the caster wheel or remove the ones still on? After 1912 the design did not include wheels because they damaged flooring. Any suggestions? I also would appreciate any replies on whether you may recognize the manufacturer. I think it might be a Sears chair, but it could be a Larkin.

This small hinged tin (2.5" long, 2" wide, 0.5" deep) depicts Marilyn Monroe in a scene from the 1955 movie "The Seven Year Itch" although the title is in French on the tin. Can't tell what it originally contained, but it looks like it might have been mints, or a pill container. There is no information on the bottom. It is in quite good condition, so may not be as old as the movie. Any comments?

4 baskets

I've no idea what these were used for, my mom had her sewing stuff in them in the early 70's.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
