What is this?

   This item is made of brass.  The bell end measures 13" x 9 7/8".  Height when standing on bell is 15".  Length is about 17".  The connector on the small end has a type of "quick connect" set-up.  It looks like it would fully engage with mating part with 1/4 turn.  I'm thinking maybe some kind of industrial hopper?

   Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The threaded connector on the small end makes me disagree.  However I do appreciate your response.

What does your "threaded connector" look like?  a pic would help. I figured the white thing on the end was a protective cap to keep the "in the ear" end sanitary.  Guess not.

Sure looks like the one in the link; close to same size too.

Maybe somebody else can figure it out.
