Has anyone seen a chair anything like this? It has a folding mechanism that allows it to fold about halfway of what a normal folding chair would. The arm rests are only about 6 inches long. We looked pretty closely at the bottom and couldn't find any markings. Just an odd looking chair all the way around. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is the ONLY chair I have come across with the short upholstered arms.

Could have been from a church or a theater, or a large home or even what is called a "campaign chair" used by the military and others adventurer's on "safari" or any other trip that required portable furniture. :)
Truth is there were many of these made, by many different manufacturers, so unless you've got makers markings it might be tough to find out who made yours. The area you are in or where you found it might be a clue for you though. It's in very nice condition to, so likely wasn't used much.
